Havana, how I’ve missed you! Well, we have arrived! Our group has checked in at the Parque Central and has begun to explore the city. There are 11 of us and things couldn’t be more perfect. The group is getting along like a house on fire. We are enjoying the sites and sounds of La Habana. We are drinking rum and dancing until the wee small hours of the morning. We have seen the beautiful home of Ernest Hemingway, have gawked at The Pilar, his marlin fishing boat, savored the fresh lobster, fried plantains and rice and beans. Today, we visit La Cabana and El Morro for the opening of the Havana Bienial, the international are show we’ve been waiting to see. We will visit the homes of painters, sculptors and print-makers; world-renown artists, who’s pieces are displayed from New York to London. Wish you were here? There’s a trip in October that can transport you to this magical island paradise. Contact me.
